Isn't She Prettyful?

"Alright Mr. DeMille,
I'm ready for my close-up"

Miss America she is NOT, but she might have been at one time.

So what, you ask, is this post all about?
Well, it's Monday and that means
another outstanding ANYTHING GOES challenge at

and our spookily terrific sponsor this week is none other than...

Who is so graciously offering 4 digi images of the winning commenters choice.
WOOHOO!

Also,
HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY TO MAKE IT MONDAY
It is a very special week for us here at Make It Monday, we are celebrating our FIRST BIRTHDAY!!

Because the success of this weekly linky party is built on the creativity, inspiration and encouragement of the entrants each week we thought we would like to say a big thank you by having a BLOG HOP with two fabulous prizes up for grabs.

Now while it will be business as usual for MIM with a fabulous prize from our sponsor this week for the winning commenter there will also be some extra chances to win.

There are prizes on two MYSTERY DESIGN TEAM MEMBER'S blogs!

All you need to do to be in with a chance of winning one of these fabulous prizes is visit each DT member's blog and leave a Happy Birthday message.

Prizes will be drawn by the DT members and announced on their blogs next week.

Good luck! and thanks again for all your wonderful support!
Here is what you could win...
Prize 1

Prize 2

But, before you go running over there to celebrate and see what other amazing projects the DT's have made to inspire you, let me show you my
PICK OF THE WEEK
(Yet again...NOT an easy task AT ALL)
Amazing creations, every one of them, but this one just really made me smile.
This gorgeous creation comes to you from
Tracey Brossart

Way to go!
This project is completely stunning and should be framed in an art gallery!
Great job and thank you so much for the inspiration.

Ok, now on to the walking dead.
This is my Make It Monday DT card
This fantastic image of the zombie female is from Teri at
Delicious Doodles, called I'm ba-aack!
You can find it here.
I don't have any tombstone stamps or bones, so these are hand drawn for the cemetery ambiance.
I didn't have hands crawling out from under the earth either, so again, hand drawn.

Also, I really wanted to accent the rotting, decaying skin that was apparent in the original black and white image.   In order to do this, I had to find a way to make dead skin.
Here's how I did this.
Instructions:
1.  Use Acrylic dimensional white writer gel and place it over the area you want "dead skin"
2. Heat it up with the heating tool
3. Drag a toothpick through it once it bubbles and stretch the gel out
4.  Allow it to dry for about 5 minutes
5.  Apply paint and color until you reach your "grossness" quota.

Ok, that's it for me now.
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and also a
HUGE welcome to the latest "Amazing Crafters" on my blog.
Thanks so much for the generous, constructive, humorous, and kind words.
Happy stamping...
Lisa xx

Supplies:
Paper - Stash supply (still on mission to use it up)
Ink: Stampin' Up! Inks - Going Grey,  Blushing Blossom, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip,
Bordering Blue, Brocade Blue, Bliss Blue.
Other - Setting sun, hand, bones, tombstones, and trees are all hand drawn
black yarn, heat embossing tool, Tombo adhesive, 3D dots
Fence Post Border Punch from Fiskars, white gel marker

Challenges I Would Like to Enter:
Gingerloft Challenge - Create a sky
The Hybrid Chick - (Card Caravan #1) - Use Twine (unraveled twine for the black "web" appearance)
Forever Night - # 7Devilish Intentions
Delicious Doodles - #1 New and Fresh (New image, new technique (dead skin)
