Sketch Away...

Welcome back to another challenge!

This week at Top Tip Tuesday,
our challenge is...
PICK A SKETCH!!

and my TIP for the week is:

When using a sketch as your inspiration, anything is possible,
as long as all the required elements are present, no matter where you place them.

This is Robyn's Fetish sketch

Here is my interpretation...
I "Snort of" Like You
I wanted to make them look like they were actually in a soda shop,
so I printed out the background image for ambiance.

Checkered table was made using embossing folder, Versamark and then heat embossing powder.
3D Dots on their snouts and her bow.

I was cutting out the record when a piece of the spiral paper landed on the pigs and it looked like a tail, so I grabbed a pink wire hardware embellishment, stretched it out and attached it to look like their tails.

A 1950's soda shop always needs a jukebox with records.

I added a little awning because I wanted it to look like you were actually looking into the soda shop at them.

The cute little image is a Robyn's Fetish digi titled,
Hog Wild Over You, from Jeanette Waters...LOVE IT!!

Robyn's Fetish is also a sponsor for this challenge and offering our lucky winner,
4 stamps of their choice!

This is Karen's Doodle Sketch

Here is my interpretation...
Wish Away
A birthday box with all the sketch elements

A pocket in the back to enclose a gift card or a card

Empty box before adding gift and paper
I put the fairy on a black stand so that she appears to be hovering above the box;
which you can fill with whatever goodies you want for the recipient.

Dissected to show the elements prior to assembly

This fantastic floating fairy is a digi from Karen's Doodles, titled...
Birthday Fairy...a FAVORITE of mine!!

Karen's Doodles is also graciously sponsoring this challenge
and they are giving 3 digi stamps of your choice to a lucky winner!

I'd love to see your creativity and imagination on these sketches so be sure to hop over there,
and from the crew of Top Tip Tuesday
Thank you for playing along with us,
Good Luck to YOU
and
Happy Stamping!!!

A Little More Twisted

This is a card that I put together to display my son's artwork.
He has always loved to draw and doodle and mostly mutant creatures.
So, I thought it would be fun to share his artwork for anyone who is looking for a little monster to put on a birthday card or for any occasion that is just "a little more twisted."

The Monster Mash Birthday Bash
He is happy to share these images with you if they interest you.
We would also love to see what you create if you use these, so drop us a link if you do!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!
Lisa and Brendan :)

P.S.  If you missed the post of his 16th birthday Mutant Zombie cake, click here...
you'll see he comes by his weirdness naturally...
"muah-ah-ah-ah!"
( my rendition of a sinister giggle).
