Hello there!
Ohhhh, what a beautiful day it is outside, finally! First time in a week that it hasn't stormed and dumped rain on us. Seems everything is enjoying the break, including this one particular bird. How pretty it sounded at 6 this morning, but as the day has worn on, it's becoming more and more grating on my nerves. It sounds like a cross between a dog chewing the crap out of a squeeky toy and a car that desperately wants to start, but can't!
Ahh well, the sun is shining so I can't complain....much.
Here is my card for
you too can join in our 2 week challenge of
EASTER!!!
And sponsoring this challenge is non other than
Prize is 5 digital images!
This little Easter image is from Robyn's Fetish and is titled,
Here I've matted 2 polka dot papers and sewn the edges and adhered to the card base that measures 4.25" x 6". I've cut out the Kid Bunny and mounted with medium sized foam squares. Using the largest thickness of foam squares, I've mounted the flowers and eggs in front of him. This is a stamp from Hero Arts titled, Easter Egg Garden. The clouds were hand drawn and cut out with a edging of Copic C2. All images were colored with the usual various assortments of Copic. To complete the card, I've gone over everything with Vintage Photo DI as I was wanting a more antiqued look to the card than a bright and vibrant appearance.
I've interrogated my kids and they said it passed the test, so I'm happy about that. Really though, they'll say anything to ensure that they get their Easter Egg hunt this year. You're never too old to celebrate in the traditions!
Okay, that's it for me on this one, but we'd really love to see your creativity over at
for our EASTER themed challenge.
Hugs n' Hoppy Stamping...
Lisa xx

Love all of the bright colors on the eggs and flowers and your little kid bunny is so cute (I'm surprised you didn't make him pink and call him Ralphie) I'm having stitch envy from the wonderful border!
As far as the bird...I'm suggesting earplugs or a slingshot! We have blackbirds that visit our feeders and their squawking almost drives me batty!
Great card Quirks
The polka dots Bg is a wonderful decision on your part, as it connects with the eggs, and the bunny is as cute as can be.
Smiles:)

How cute! All those bright Easter colors just pop on that spotted background. :-)
I'm glad to see the rain go to although the temps warming up again. Hope this summers not a scorcher again.
I just might have some of those same birds here at my house. LOL I know we had one out in the tree by the front door last night chirping way after dark. Told hubby that guy needed to go to bed. :-) Have a great Sunday!
I love Easter so I definitely plan to enter this challenge. :-) As for your card it is so sweet and I love the vintage finish. The bunny is adorable and what colorful eggs.
BTW you are never too old to hunt for Easter eggs and I made my family promise to hide a golden egg this year. In 3rd grade, Lydia, found the golden egg and this is MY year. LOL!!!
Big Hugs,
