Elmer Fudd Would Be Proud...

Be vewy, vewy, qwiet...I'm hunting for a wabbit!
Yes, Elmer would be proud of the way I've captured these waskily wabbits in a vintage Easter ornament.
I selected a die cut to encase the image and then glazed over them UTEE.  Once dry, I ran the edges through Versamark and then gold powder embossed them.  A larger identical die cut was used for the backing and each was covered with gesso and then acrylic tan and blue paint.  The image was mounted on large foam squares, a ribbon glued for hanging them and then a trio of roses and leaves for embellishment and finished off with gold stickle dots on the edges.
I think they'll look very cute on our seasonal tree!
Ooops....got a blob of gunk there that wouldn't melt.  Still new to the UTEE thing...

Here's all the little Easter bunnies together
If you found interest in these images, you can find them here...
Thanks so much for dropping in and I hope you have a FANTASTIC weekend!
Hugs to all,
Lisa xx
Ohhh, and a big hello to my newest follower as well...thank you so much. :)

Oh, the irony! The girls are watching Bugs Bunny and it's the one featuring Bugs and Elmer in The Barber of Seville!! Perfect background music for viewing your ornaments!
These are fantastic! Love the porcelain-like texture and those images are gorgeous! They look like something we would see in an antique shop! LOVE THEM!! I have several projects on file that use UTEE, but have yet to try the stuff...

Those waskily wabbits are wonderful! UTEE does have a mind of its own at times but this is such a great look, especially the gold embossing on the edges. Makes them look like gold rimmed porcelain plates. :-) Off to do more blog hopping and you know what I'll be singin' while I do it? The wabbit in wed da da da da da da, the wabbit in wed. Thu-thu-thu-thu that's all folks! LOL Later Twang!
