Que Sera Sera...

Hello there and welcome back to my blog and this card created just for the linky party going on this week at
Despite the title of this post, I was not listening to Doris Day this particular time, but the idea behind this creation was definitely whatever will be will be.  What I really enjoyed about making this card was the intent to just create without a game plan.  You can see in some places it went a bit wacky and in other areas some restraint, but overall I am very happy with its outcome.  I even threw in a circle punched vintage image from Nicecrane Designs called Vintage Film Fun Covers and placed her inside a bottle cap...love that!
I hope you enjoyed seeing my top note card with the what nots and so forths piled on.
I'm so glad you came by for a visit and I do hope that you'll check out the fabulous creations from all the other DT's as well as the around the world inspiration that gathers there every week!
Which leads me to my
PICK OF THE WEEK!
What an unbelievable amount of talent to choose from, again!  I had the hardest time narrowing it down, like always, but this one I just had to show you...
I can't even begin to describe how much I admire this card.   I think it's a great non-gender specific card that could be used for a male or a female.  It's the perfect combination of feminine and masculine textures and the focal point of burlap and stitching and those trees...just wonderful!
Thank you so much Susan for sharing your talent with all of us.

LOVE the bottle cap paired with that punched image! Now that's a fun embellie. I think this one was more restrained than wacky. LOL It's lovely and has a great vintage feel all around. It's great Lisa! Hugs!

Hello Q
You know sometimes it is good just to let GO, I don't do it often enough, well in fact never!
I admire your will-power to just pile it on and see what happens!!!! God I would get myself into a right old state if I tried doing this, and you would not want to be around as I tend to loose perspective very quickly, and then strange things happen...
It is all about control, and I need to be in control...BIG TIME.
You of course have the ability to do the free and easy stuff, and by the looks of this creation you have do exceptionally well, your flowers are gorgeous and the bottle top a wonderful addition, and the layers, wonderful, wonderful layers
I feel so curtailed on times and often think I am missing out on some fun with my artistic gene wanting to be so precise.
Smiles:)
