Many Wee Men and a King...

Hello :)
A little post to showcase some more fantastic images available to you at
Does this look familiar?  Remember the story of the young lady who was boarding with seven wee men? Well, here they are again for you to color up all your own!
But wait...there's more...
I had a little play with the Word Window punch by adding a few to the back of the oval scallop.  I originally wanted to frame the entire oval, but instead I left it 'framey-ish'  of sorts.

Here's a preview of what I used, called
"The Children's Magic Garden"
Here is my second project.
As much as I love this image, I cannot think of what children's story this belongs to. The Rat King? I thought he rode an elephant. I don't know, but the image is fabulous and we used to have rats for pets (Ted and Ned).
These are extremely lovable and smart little critters and if you ever want your child to clean under their bed, send in the rat.  I had a hoot watching the two of them scurry under my son's bed and drag stuff back out!
Anyway, whoever this king is mounted on his trusty "steed," he seems to be stating something of great importance, so this image became a motivational hanging plaque.
The crown and frame are another round with sculpey clay and the sentiment typed on the PC says,
"Hear Ye, Hear Ye...Do Great Things!"
I think those are fabulous words to live by.

Hope you have a great one, wherever you are.
Hugs n' Happy Stamping...
Lisa xx

Hello Quirks
Definitely worth waiting for!!!!
Snow White and her little men look adorable, and the colour work just brings them all to life,I can see this in a childrens book it is that professional....I have come to the conclusion that you still have an open mindset to your craft, it has not been stifled by anyone; which is rare, as people have the want to impose limits on ones thinking, which can stifle our creativity and prevent one from reaching their full potential.
I am not saying you have reached your full potential Q, on the contrary I have witnessed growth in the time I have known you.
So kudos to you my friend, the little Plaque is another Wow, it is always such a joy to visit you.
Continue your recipe of daring to dream.
Smiles:)
Sue

Where in the world do you find those pics you post at the top of your sidebar Twang? LOL They're hilarious.
So instead of Labrador retrievers you had rat retrievers huh? :-)
I love the images you've used on these cards even if I have no idea what story that second one came from either. I just love vintage storybook images. I see you're still playing with the clay. Cool frame!
Hope you're having a great week! Hugs! H

You have been quite busy playing again haven't you?! Love the 'framey not a frame' technique around the stunningly gorgeous coloring!! And how cute and perfect is the little sentiment tag!
Your clay creation makes me wish I lived next door so I could ask to come over for a play date! This is fabulous and so fun! A wonderfully motivational piece!
Pet rats...why am I not surprised?! Actually, I think I could deal with them better than the little mice!

You've rocked this Snow White and just love how you've done the framishy sort of thing. I have no idea of the second fairy tale image, but the idea of rats running around getting the kids to clean under their beds is an idea that makes me go hmmmmm might just work!!
