Not my gumdrop buttons!!!

Yes, I'm quoting Shrek..love that movie!
Fear not little gingerbread man, all is safe and sound here in your decked out gingerbread house, complete with gumdrop candies, candy canes and lollipops.  We've even got a cozy fire in the fireplace all for you!
I've managed to make my fourth Christmas card now and it's all thanks to the wonderful artists at Squigglefly. This particular house was drawn by Jane Beljo and available here if you'd like to make yourself a nice little refuge for gingerbread people too.  There's also a new challenge over at Squigglefly and they'd love to see your Ribbon or Bows!
So stop on in and say hi and while you're there, enjoy a nice cup of milk and a gingerbread cookie on us!
Sshhhhhh.... ;)
Hugs n' Happy Stamping,
Lisa xx

oh gosh Lisa I don't even know what to comment on first! There are so many elements in this I adore. Your background is an amazing bit of creativity - it reminds me of an iced pieced of gingerbread and I love the sheer fabric piece. Your puff of smoke from the chimney makes me smile and all the glittering snow and snowflakes are wonderful. Such a fabulously fun and creative card!

Hello Q
Your corrugated Bg is a wonderful backdrop to your scene, I agree the house is gorgeous, more-so because of your colour work, which is always superb.
Smiles:)

Lisa, I have to tell you I just noticed your treasured angel and friend on the right side of your blog... Mine is sitting right next to me in a chair by the computer waiting for me to get done so he can cuddle in my lap his name is Felix and he is 7 years old. He is my baby.
Just thought I would share that with you.
Love your gingerbread house and it looks like you can eat it. Love the fabric background and the corrugated paper.
Hugs, Patricia

Hey Sugar Bugar! You have just made a card with some of my most favorite things. Gingerbread houses, gingerbread men and snow!!!! I am having my morning coffee so some nice gingerbread with whipped cream would be good! I don't know how you achieved this background but it does resemble a piece of gingerbread sprinkled with confectionery sugar. My favorite part of this card? I love the smoke coming out of the chimney.
