Hello again!
Still on my mission to fill the bare limbs of my once Christmas tree, as it transforms into our family Valentine tree, and I'm back with the third of eight ornament designs.
Here's a couple pictures I took to explain how I made them.
Each starts with a heart box cut from a cutting machine and then a cut heart flourish type frame placed on top.
5 more Valentine shadow boxes ready to get started.
I had the cutting machine cut out several trees, fences and keys to decorate. I also printed out and fussy cut several vintage Valentine images.
Here's
Headed to Lover's Lane ;)
You're Hot!
You're a Dear
I Love You!
and lastly...
Squeeze Me!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and thanks so much for the visit.
I'm off to finish up my house chores and then watch more Dexter. Good grief, that show is addictive!!
Hugs n' Happy crafting,
Lisa x

Wonderful idea of converting a Christmas tree to a valentine tree and these ornaments will make it look just WOW !! I loved the cute little scenes you have created in the shadow boxes a lot !
Oh my goodness - the last thing Butterfly (my daughter :-) ) needs is the idea that one can redecorate the Tree for non-Christmas! But what a brilliant thought....

Incredible what can be made just with paper and the right tools! I enjoyed looking at the photos of this making process, and I've got the feeling hat you had fun making these. They're adorable!
So much fun and I know your Valentine tree will be wonderful - full of whimsey and nostalgia not to mention pretty!

Sorry so many comments all on one day. I like to come here when I have time to soak it all in. What a feast for the eyes. Your little heart boxes are amazing. I hope you have a beautiful boutique some day and can fill it with all these treasures - if you could part with them. They must be a labor of love because each one is original and different.
Holy CRAP!!! You are my hero!!!! I pinned a ton of vintage valentines last month and knew that I wanted to use them somehow and then I see this!!! I'm sure mine won't be nearly as elaborate or awesome!!!
