Spring and Pluto Matter, Dangit .....

Hello to you wonderful people!
I'm not exactly sure where Spring went. I think it might have been when I heard it was on it's way and stuck my head in the coat closet to find my galoshes and umbrella, only to reemerge and find less than enjoyable Summer temperatures.
I have never been a fan of sweating (unless I'm maniacally chasing the ice cream truck as it turns the corner of my street) but other than that, I find it pointless.
Therefore, I've  taken up camp at my favorite vacation spot, the river denial, and I'm crafting in memory of my lost friend, Spring, and I shan't hoard it to myself.   Here is a lovely gift basket full of cool and breezy pastel colored goodies that emanate the softness and tenderness of Spring for others like myself.

Join me in supporting the cause by making Round Easter Basket Sets too and in doing so, you'll help spread awareness that ALL seasons are special and they ALL matter.  Please don't let Spring fall to the wayside like Pluto.
Thank you so much for your visit. I appreciate you immensely.
Here's a BIG hug to you and have a wonderful day!
Lisa xx

Well, dang it. I have missed a few of ypor posts!!! This one had me cracking up. I can almost see you chasing that ice cream truck, and the bit about an equal opportunity shop for all seasons. Girl, you craft as well with words as you do with your hands. Love all the projects.

I'm no big fan of winter except December due to Christmas time, but winter is necessary, I think, for me to appreciate spring even more. I love living in a place where there are 4 seasons. Heat and beach are good for a two week holiday, but unless I'll get extremely rich one day and can have a pool I don't like the temps too high either... Enough blah blah from me, I'm actually here to tell you that basket is a treat and seem to hold even more treats! The person receiving this is a lucky one!

We are still having Spring and I love it. My Lilac have not bloomed yet but are peeking out. The bulbs are just flowering and are so beautiful. Your basket is wonderful and love the summer color you picked out. Enjoy the river, I would have to take you to Lake Michigan and you would love that.\
Hugs, Pat/♥

What? Sweating? We can't even get into the 70's and stay there for two days! What's up with that! Love your gorgeous basket, really clever design! You are going to make someone's day with such a wonderful gift!

I would be checking my mail box in the next few millennium for the thank you you'll be getting from Pluto. :-) I think I might still have some of those butterflies you've used in my own stash. We actually had a dry day with decent temps so I've been a bum. Hey I'll use any reason to be one of those. LOL Great project. Hugs! H

What a great template for the Easter basket - yours looks so great. I just loved reading your writing - totally made me laugh. And let me assure you - Pluto is alive and well. He was just here at the ranch over spring break. I saw him with my own eyes - in fact, I even babysat him while my 5 year old granddaughter went on a buggy ride with her Pappy!!! So take heart - if Pluto was here then I predict you will get another short glimpse of spring... cooler temps and a spring feeling day - at least once more before summer really takes over!!! Thank you so much for making my day with your fun Lisa! j.

Such a pretty basket Lisa and lol for your post. You have got to get yourself over here right Now! We've had blue skies for last 3 days and are forecast another few sunny days ahead. Now this is plain weird for Ireland, as we are used to so much rain. I'm so sorry if we have robbed 'your' Spring. As soon as we have had enough we will send it back to ya! Nicola x

I really dig your basket! We are still enjoying spring here, honestly it just emerged last weekend and this one I have daffodils! Before I know it we'll have green grass, leaves, and lots of bugs!
;-) Just made my bakset this weekend and it annoyed me so badly I bought myself a new Silly! Since old silly almost went out the front door and over the bank along with my calm...I think it was a good thing...

Beautiful basket of goodies!!! Love! Also Spring here is pretty short, currently in the rainy week and then before we know we will be complaining about the high temps. Enjoy the moments ;-)

LOL! How I have missed your humor! As I was marveling at your gorgeous basket, I kept thinking 'how does Pluto fit into this?' Glad you cleared it up in the end!

I wish I could say we went straight from winter to summer... We have had the rainiest and chilliest spring this year. Spending most of it outside at tennis and softball doesn't make me enjoy it too much either! Saturday was the first really nice day we've had in a while. Hoping we can keep spring without all of the rain!

How shocking that I haven't been here since Easter!!! Eeeek!! We're still in complete April weather here though - spring showers and veering from really warm one day in the sunshine back to wet and freezing and needing two hot water bottles the next!! I love your charming Easter basket - and I'm off to see whether I've missed any other wonders.
