Yes, I distinctly remember one of the Wise Men having a pet reindeer. I think he got the little fella fairly cheaply - a couple of tins of Frankincense if I remember correctly. But you better be careful - this reindeer loves little cookies. I would set him down wind where he cannot smell anything sweet!

Wow, your consumption of a lot of wine to get a whole nativity scene together sounds like you need to have a wine party. Great idea and the reindeer is so cute.

Get ready for lots of comments because I'm hanging around today.. savoring all the delights to be had...love the woodgrain wall paper and new header.. (have I been away too long?).. and gosh this little cork reindeer has such a nostalgic feel to it. Perhaps some wine is in order to try to remember what this reminds me of. Love it!

You didn't say if you consumed both bottles of wine at the same time or different events. :-) It can be your little secret.

Your little cork reindeer is so adorable. Last year my sister-in-law made one for my tree. It makes me SMILE!!

Looking forward to tomorrow and seeing where your little man is going to lay his head. (Maybe you should give him a name!)

Thanks for sharing!

ACK! Seriously, how cute - not to mention ingenious and innovative - is your cork reindeer! I'm sure you had as much fun acquiring said corks as you did making this little gem! He's a darling addition to your Nativity scene; the camels wouldn't mind having him in their midst at all! You and *self* are just so dang clever *grin*

Getting plenty of ideas for next years advent calendar gifts for my mum. Yes, she's in her mid sixties, but we're like children when it comes to Christmas and we each have one little gift to open each day until the big day. Which in Norway is on December 24. We open all presents after the Christmas dinner....
