Hello there to you!
I just want to apologize for not getting around to visit this week. I'm just running so far behind on kid, house and family stuff that I've not seen my desk in over a week. I WILL be by to visit starting next week and I really look forward to it. I've missed all your inspiration.
Well, it's Saturday and that means it's time to share another Onion, Mitza Pitza and Quirks project.
Our theme this week to
Draw Your Own Focal Image/Sentiment
Mother and Child
(Please feel free to download)
Sentiment created on the PC, also free to download
This week has been so much fun with the kids that they were truly my inspiration for this drawing and the sentiment.
A very CAS style for me, but I hope you enjoy it.
Hugs to you all!!!
Please enjoy my wonderful buddies projects here as well :)

Love it. Love how your designed your card and let the digi speak by keeping it CAS. It's very effective.
Delightful! So pretty and soft! LOVE it! I hear ya on the busy thing, this time of year speeds up like crazy! Hope you catch your stride soon! Or at least stop long enough for nice cup of coffee!
Lisa, this is absolutely beautiful! There is so much love in your 'simple' design and your image is wonderful.
LOVE this Twang! The way you drew the images is just beautiful. They remind me of those Willowtree figurines. You did good chick! Hugs!
WOW!!!! Lisa you are amazingly talented! Ever thought of designing your own set of stamps? I've downloaded a copy and will definitely be using it (with all credit to you of course). Huge round of applause hun. Hope you and your family have a wonderful week ahead. Hugs, Jenny x

Hello Q
My first statement is that I believe these Challenges have been a huge success and I can say my creative juices have kicked in this week, it has been awhile since I felt remotely positive with my Art.
You on the other hand; even though you say otherwise are going from strength to strength.
Drawing anything in my book is fretful and I get the fidgets big time, so for me to attempt anything like what you have sketched is just so impressive.
I know you are a talented girl, but your forces of imagination is unrestricted by reality, and you appear to enter the world of fantasy, and conceive this originality in your work. This piece is not quirky, it is precious, the image tugs the heart strings of every mother, as you have expressed exactly through the sketch and the lexicon the thoughts that are felt but not always expressed. Even though there is no face, which I have issues with, for this sketch it works, adding a facial expression would alter the mood considerably, so in essence, a truly beautiful drawing and I am so pleased you restricted the embellishments.
Smiles:)
O
Beautiful moving card Lisa..I think the image is just gorgeous, simple, but so meaningful..you are so talented..

When I really like a card - like this one - I find it hard to find the right words to describe what I feel. So I'll simply go with "I love it"! I love it beacuse it's so soft and gentle, the uncolored image is so emotional somehow...
First and foremost, this is so beautiful in its simplicity. I think it is one of my favourite images you have created. I'm in love with it. There is something that just moves me deeply in this image and accompanying sentiment. Man I wish I had been here sooner bec. I'd have loved to use this for the Caring challenge.
Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful art with us.
Hugs,
Lisa
