Outhouse Holiday Wishes....

I'll be honest...this is a first for me!!
I've never used an outdoor restroom to send holiday well wishes, but.....
I love a good laugh, so when I saw this image from Rick St. Dennis' Etsy shop titled Outhouse Noel 2012, I knew it had to come home with me.
The frame was cut twice and layered for sturdiness. The Outhouse Noel, colored in copics, was UTEE embossed three times for maximum gloss and then frozen in the freezer for 30 minutes, cracked and then stained.  The image is covered here so that I could stain, ink and paint the frame.
The sentiment and a little sled added for winter embellishment.
Greenery from TH Tattered Pinecone and stacked poinsettia flowers from Silhouette Cameo and hand punched snowflakes added as well.

If you're a fan of these adorable little outdoor bathrooms, you'll be thrilled to know that Rick has an entire series of them you won't want to miss.
Icons below are linked to each Rick St. Dennis store or blog.

Thank you SO much for your visit!!!
Biggest hugs and happy stamping to you!
Lisa xx

Hey sugar - I am not having a very good day today - doctors and all that. We just got home and I opened your post and now I am smiling from ear to ear. Thanks kid - you and a big helping of beans is all I need to feel better. You are a hoot!

Hello Q,
I am laid up with the flu at present so feeling a little sorry for myself and like Sandy your card put a smile on my face, not that I would like to receive a Christmas card with an outhouse as the main focal image I must admit, as it conjures up unpalatable images!
However, the design is a piece of artwork and I'm sure you will find the right person to send it to, and will appreciate your unconventional sense of humour hahah.....
Smiles :-)

We have a mean little trick we like to pull in our house. We wait until all it quiet in the bathroom, run by, knock and yell HEY IS EVERYTHING COMING OUT OK IN THERE?

That is what I thought of when I read your sentiment!

Love that cracking and freezing! That is a cool trick! A very pretty frame!

I'm amazed at how beautiful a card can be that includes an outhouse! It takes a minute to register what you're actually seeing! Overflowing, ha!
