The River Denial...

Taking a few liberties with the more common quote "Denial ain't just a river in Egypt", I knew this little Egyptian diva would make a humorous birthday card for our sketch challenge over at Dutch Dare.  Layering four Egyptian playing cards onto a Kraft based card, a 'pyramid' sewn border, red square mesh netting and a handmade pyramid, here sits Bonnie of the Nile (Sassy Cleopatra), colored up in copics, from Sassy Studios with a comical birthday wish.

Wishing each of you all the very best.  Thank you so much for your time to visit my blog.
Hugs n' Happy Stamping...

Great image - love how you mixed the modern drawing with the vintage looking playing cards - better yet is the witty comment of your sassy Cleopatra. Your coloring is beautiful (as always!) and she is pretty enough to get away with it!

Are you suggesting that I'm not 29?! Well!!! ;)
Cleopatra may be the Queen of 'denial', but you are the Queen of coordinating crafty goodness! Love the royal playing cards and the fantastic pyramid behind the super sassy Cleo (who looks stunning, btw!)and her witty comments! The netting looks great on there too! Awesome recycling!!
