Your Imagination Will Do....

Hello to you and thank you so much for stopping in!
I needed a little break from making cards and once I saw the fantastic challenge from my blog buddy Sue over at Our Creative Corner, I couldn't wait to play.  Let's just say that this was NOT my first attempt, nor my second, OR my third...it's my fourth attempt at producing an inspirational piece using the requirements a) must be a square and b) must use analogous colors.  My focal color is medium blue and the supporting colors of light blue, green and light green. Neutrals are allowed, so I opted for white as mine.
I actually LOVE my crackled background! I finally realized that the crackle I was using was a medium and needed a top layer to actually crack! Holy moly...all those other times I just sat and waited forever and no cracks. I tell ya'..glasses are a great thing!
Thank you to Mitra for the perfect blank canvas that served as the base.  The fabulous square flowers are from the awesome tutorial by Jeanne.  SO CUTE!  The sentiment comes from Create With TLC and the Peter Pan silhouette digi. They were applied using the Mod Podge Transfer method.

Hope you like it!!
That was truly a blast of a challenge so I hope you hop over to check it out :)
Hugs n' Happy Stamping...
Lisa xx

Oh wow, Lisa! Way to rise triumphant! Peter Pan was my FAVE as a boy. You couldn't have done him more justice! Square flowers? Genius. The colors really lend themselves to the sweet fantasy of it all. I really like this so much. And yes, I had to put my glasses on to see the whole thing properly. Cheers!

Your imagination has no bounds. Lisa - this is brilliant. Isn't it frustrating when something doesn't come together but you did it in the end for an unbelievable result. Love your versatility.

Hello Q
I think you were having me on...I cannot believe you had difficulty with this Challenge!!!! To me this is a eureka moment in your life as an artist, obviously the time away from deadlines is paying off big time, as this canvas is the best piece of work I think you have designed in a long time and you have made some wonderful creations these past few years. Your Palette is calm and comfortable, the arrangement of flowers adds texture and dimension, and the placement of your ribbon adds surprising movement. No quirkiness at play here, just originality; your silhouettes of Tinker-belle and Peter relates the fantasy that we all know so well and the sentiment confirms the conceptualisation. What more can I say, other than this is exquisite.
Smiles:)
