Ode to Otis Redding...

"I'm sittin' on the dock of the bay, watchin' the tide roll away..."
Hello!
Here's a little card I've made up for the current linky party at
 using the peaceful image of
  Digi Doodle Shop, called
Country Pond and the free Love Meanings sentiment.
Card base measures 3.5" x 3.75" and is decorated up with copics, lace, pearls, handmade hat pins, glittered heart and copic colored flower and a little stand on the back side of the card.
Sentiment says,
"Falling in love: Unites what was once divided."
When I saw the dock reaching out across the water, I thought this sentiment worked so well with it.  From there, the heart shape took place and the rest, well...you see it here. :)

I had an incredible time looking at ALL of last week's entries; we had OVER 250 entries and WOW, talk about a bombardment of talent and outstanding creativity of everyone who played along with us.  Picking just one was NOT simple, again!  But I did it, so without further ado, here is my...
PICK OF THE WEEK!
#63 Sandra Dry
She made this card for her father who for years worked on repairing and servicing typewriters.  I think it's sensational and perfectly fitted for him.  Very masculine and vintage.
Thank you so much for stopping in. I hope this finds you all well and ready for another fabulous creative week.
Hugs n' Happy Stamping...

And now I have that song on eternal repeat in my brain, oh well, least it's a great song, lol.

Your POTW is a perfect masculine card. Love how she made it more personalised for her Dad, isn't that the great thing about handmade cards.

I'm running out of adjectives L2 to describe the amazing creativity flowing forth from you. For me, this is my all time favorite card you've made. First, the colors-oh my! Vivid, beautiful colors that I could stare at for days. Your flowers, some of my personal fave's and Otis Redding-well I {heart} him.
This is a special card, in every way!!!
Big Hugs to You,
