12 Tags Of Christmas Ornament 8

Mason Jar Lid 8
Back again with the 8th tag for The 12 Tags of Christmas.  Inspired by Linda's warm and cozy tag, my eyes couldn't steer away from the stocking.  My ornament was built around where stockings are hung...the mantel.

Texture pasted with faux brick and DP applied, I prepped the background.
Cut a piece of white card stock to make the mantel.  Colored it up with Copics and then set out to create the fireplace with stockings, fire and Santa's legs.
Topped off with a sparkly white snowflake, sentiment, greenery and bingo piece.
Thanks again to Linda at The Funkie Junkie for hosting this yearly challenge and for sponsoring the prizes at her store The Funkie Junkie Boutique.

I'm so glad you stopped by!
Hugs and happy crafting,
Lisa x

Is this cool, or what? Seriously sensational, Lisa. LOVE the brick fireplace and the tiny stockings. And your sentiment sign is fantastic. This is my absolute favorite so far. I'm so tickled to have you sharing it with my visitors for the 12 Tags challenge!

Hugs,
Linda

For the love of all that is Christmas you can take the simplest of things and make a scene with them! Never would have imagined that mantle was just a white piece of paper under all that greenery! Love love love this one! That stocking of Linda's was something else! ;-)

There is something so romantic about a fireplace with stockings hung with care. You know I am a country girl (old lady) Lisa so am particularly fond of this lid. Can't wait to see your whole tree.
By the way - I have seen Richard Petty, Bobby Alison, Davy Alison, Kyle Petty, Bill Elliott, Darrell Waldrop, Michael Waldrop, Mark Martin, Of course #3 and his son # 8, and was it sexy Tim Richmond? Rusty Wallace, Harvey Gant - all race. I loved it -- you are absolutely right - I cannot always spell their names correctly - Heck, I cannot always spell my own name correctly. Oh how I love the Winston Cup - but all has changed!! My favorite track? Bristol, Tennessee - the prettiest track? Charlotte, North Carolina. So how is that for a red neck!!!!!

Sandy xx
Love you - Sandy

So wonderful... and again with the fabulous grungy textures on the frame and background. I love the stockings, and the game piece is a great touch.

As you can tell I'm trying to get caught up on my email as you can tell I do not delete them unless they are super old and some can get that way. Just get to much mail... I like this one has more color and it makes me laugh... Love Santa, fire and the stocking.
