'Won't ya be my neighbor..."

"Hello boys and girls!"
OMG...were you subjected to Mister Roger's Neighborhood growing up?  That man drove me nuts and his little hand puppets gave me nightmares. I did however love the Eddie Murphy version on Saturday Night Live when I got older.  'Our special word for the day is..."
I never could appreciate dollhouses or Barbies when I was little. There wasn't a Barbie ever purchased for me that I didn't immediately separate her head from her shoulders. I couldn't understand the fascination.  Now I find myself in my 40's having the time of my life playing house!

Regina at The Cutting Cafe has designed for you a set of houses that would be 'Just Right' for Goldilocks and perfectly suited for the 3 Bears and it's called 3D House Set..  They come in big, small and tall and so many accessories as well.
You could make a Halloween town, a Christmas village, OR your own little Woodbury if you're Walking Dead freaks like me!
They even come with plenty of storage space. Something we're all looking for in a home!

Here you can see that it comes with a cut file to make a base as well. This holds the house very securely and gives you great space to decorate around the house.
I've also used the file Halloween and Fall Basic Images; which include the little leaves on the trees.
Please stay tuned to The Cutting Cafe Blog for all the DT's makes and if you leave a simple compliment, you could win 3 free cut files of your choice!
So happy you stopped in today.
Make sure to grab some homemade cookies and spiced cider on your way out.
HUGS and Happy Crafting,
Goodbye Boys and Girls, goodbye....
Lisa xx

Love your fall house! It is adorable. So funny about Mr. Rogers - I never watched it as a kid, but Lauren watched it. Those puppets scared me as an adult, but Lauren didn't seem to mind. Have a happy week!

I love how you compared Mr Roger and someone said I do not know who Mr Rogers is. Hahahaha That was way too funny. Everyone knows who he is. But maybe not, I think this is dating us, oh boy!!! Your house is adorable, love the white tree and all the different papers. The bow is a special touch. Maybe Goldilocks but not the 3 bears. How fun is your project.
Hugs, Pat

I took one look at this and thought oh my fathers, she's gone soft on me! Then I read your post and felt like you retrieved yourself some what. I don't have one of those fancy cutting machines but your little house really makes me want one!! Can you use the file without a machine? I do love houses of any shape or size. It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, a beautiful day in the neighborhood, won't you be my neighbor!

I never cared for Barbie either, but I had a red haired Cindy doll I loved. For as long as I can remember I wanted red hair and freckles, lol.
I had this big doll house I loved, now in my parents attick, I should fetch it and find a place for it here in my home now.
Love your version of a house (and your nail polish too!). It has great details, and a lovely garden too! Nice!!

Absolutely delightful house and so much eye candy to gaze upon! My kids watching Mr. Rodgers drove me nuts, I had to deal with a talking platypus as a child!

Holy Cow!!! This is pure AWESOMENESS!!! I love everything about it! The colors, the tiny little leaves on the tree, the adorable little pumpkin, the moss, flowers, they way you made the shutters look like they are opened...EVERYTHING! Not only is the house awesome...your post had me laughing. The "storage space" is one of my favorite things about this file. I also have to say that Miss Sandy who commented earlier and then started singing Mr. Rogers song also had me laughing.

Wow from Mr. Rogers to Walking Dead! lol I am amazed at your agile fingers to place the tiniest things onto this house, I have to use a tweezer. I love the scene, love the foliage coming off the roof! It is such a sweet house even with the jackolantern. A little bit of Mr. Rogers and a bit of Walking Dead, I see it perfectly in your house, I would love to be your neighbor!

This house really put a smile on my face, especially the Mr. Rogers comment. My kids loved watching him and I can still hear his voice and the theme song. If he helped inspire you to do this, he did a wonderful job!

Alright Twang. Do I need to be worried that you are secretly an axe murderer or something. You know that children who torture their pets grow up to be some scary people. I'm not sure if Barbies would fall in there too. ;-) The house is cute as can be and yes, I was a Mr. Rogers kid. I preferred Captain Kangaroo though. :-) Hugs!
