Card 1 Lisa 0....

Grateful
Hey ya'll, welcome back.
Just want to say thank you for the wonderful comments and the great laughs I've had with your responses.  I had to refer back to a few of them this week, while doing this card...
I'll explain.

But before I get into that,
I want to tell you that there's another wonderful challenge going on at

Sammi at Mad For Markers

is the wonderful sponsor and she's offering the lucky winner
A Copicendium Magazine

I know, right? How awesome is that?
So be sure to check out
and see all the wonderful DT's creative cards!

Here's my
Pick Of The Week
from last week's entries

You think the image is on the front of the card...
but, it's not....
Layers of adorableness!
Thanks so much for sharing this with us!!

Now to the hot mess I call my card.
I had an idea and it just went from bad to worse.  Every single step of the way went terribly wrong.  Coloring smeared, using the Big Shot the die slipped, applying adhesive - fingers stuck to everything but what I wanted it to.
I'm not sure at what stage in this card I finally waved the white flag, but it was obvious this card had a mind of it's own and would fight me to the end.
I conceded.

Here's another view of the card that refused my persuasions...
I actually respect the card for it's persistence and gumption.
I like it a lot better than my concept.

Here's what I tried to do
You win some, you lose some but in the end it's all a learning experience.

Have a great day everybody and thanks SO MUCH for stopping by.
Lisa :)

Ms Lisa, you are way too critical! Besides...since you managed to finish the card it's not a complete surrender, more of a compromise!! Your end product is wonderful!
