Visions of Sugarplums Day One

Welcome one and all to the kick off of the second annual
Visions of Sugarplums!
Throughout the week, those that are participating in this hop will be sharing, crafts, recipes, traditions, tips, and wonderful, wonderful prizes.  There will be prizes available each day and all you have to do is leave a comment and see their requirements on each participant's posts.  At the bottom of this page I will be including all the links available for each day.
Okay, so let's get this show on the road... :)

Visions Of Sugarplums Logo
We would love for you to help us spread the Christmas cheer by posting this logo on your sidebar if you wish.

Here is my offering for day one.
These are handmade crocheted Christmas stockings, made by grandmother, Mari.  The most wonderful thing about the holidays for me is making and receiving handmade gifts.  I thought it would be perfect for my grammy to participate again in a blog candy hop with her amazing crochet skills.  She has designed these to perfectly fit a gift card.  I've added some festive embellishments to each of them and also included my own crocheted snowflakes as well.
We truly hope you enjoy these and a HUGE thank you to you Grandma for getting involved in all the fun for Visions of Sugarplums!

Each day I will be showcasing a gift in my candy until Friday December 7th.  Everything you see on my posts will be gathered together in ONE prize for ONE lucky commenter.
Winner will be announced on
Saturday, December 8th at 12:00pm CST

Here are the rules for my candy....
1.) Please be a follower (NO BLOG CANDY ONLY FOLLOWERS)
2.)  Leave a comment.  The more days you comment on, the more times your name will be entered in my drawing.
3.) This is for all readers, stateside and overseas...all are welcome.

Thank you SO much for your visit and I wish you ALL the best of luck in winning my candy.
hugs,
Lisa xx

Those stockings are very cute, I was contemplating knitting some as Christmas tree decorations but that's as far as it got I'm afraid!

How adorable are those stockings?! And I love your rustic embellishments! Crocheting is way out of my crafting capabilities, so I'm full of admiration for anyone who can do it...

How sweet is your grandmother! I love how you adorned the tops, so pretty. I have never seen a crocheted snowflake, from the bit peaking out, looks pretty adorable Lisa. These would be so pretty to decorate with.

I know I can't win but surely I am allowed to comment!!! Those little stockings are adorable - what a talented family you have. Adorable is the wrong word - luxurious is more like it. Plush - soft and warm.

The little stockings are adorable Q, It is a real shame that this craft along with knitting seems to be disappearing.

What? I am not a follower? How is that even possible? I wanted to do a double check because I was SURE I became a follower when I showcased you. Did Google spit me back out? Anyways, I've rectified the situation and beg humble apologies my friend. That is what happens sometimes when I get posts delivered to my inbox. I forget the other follower aspect. Anyways, I'm rambling now. I believe that I am all caught up once again so I won't be stalking you anymore tonight. Have a great week!

Hugs,
L.
