12 Baubles of Bliss....

Well golly...that was just a blast! I've had the best time making 12 little ornaments for Linda's The 12 Tags of Christmas challenge.  Not only are her tags amazing, but ALL the entries that everyone is submitting are sensational. So much inspiration to see. If you're interested, Linda has extended the deadline and you can find out the details here on her blog, The Funkie Junkie and also read about the prizes she's sponsoring from her store, The Funkie Junkie Boutique.
Okay....here it is, number 12

Bauble #12
My ornament went off the rails a bit on this one as I drew my inspiration from the genre of transportation.  I thought it would be fun to modernize Linda's tag a bit with a retro station wagon carrying home a Christmas tree.  The chill in the air and a cute little couple all bundled up together, out on a crisp winter's evening.  I do love gold, so I also added the golden stars and a Christmas sentiment as well.

Here is Linda's tag 12

All together at last and ready to join the tree with the ornaments from 2011 and 2012 that I made for The 12 Tags of Christmas Challenge!
I really hope you'll check it out. :)

12 Tags of Christmas for 2013
Thank you so very much for your visit and I truly wish you all a wondrous and blessed Christmas.
Hugs to you,
Lisa x

OMG! Amazing ornament - it brings back lots of nostalgic memories - hopping into the station wagon and visiting for the holiday bringing Christmas Cheer. I can't believe you made all these beautiful ornaments. Each one is a work of art and CRAZY GOOD!!

Hello Q
Wow...They look amazing all lined up, and with your previous years creations they will juxtapose beautifully on the tree. You have worked really hard to complete this Challenge; I admire your tenacity, unlike me who fell at the first hurdle, you should be so pleased with what you have accomplished especially as so much has been going on in your life these past few months.
Great work my friend.
Smiles:)

Numbers 2, 4, and 9 are my out and out favourites I think - but there's so much festive goodness here - wonderful!

With these put on the tree I'm sure you're going to have the best ever looking Christmas tree! I love this as an idea for personal Christmas gifts, and I think a good sized one would look great decorating a window too, which would be a perfect gift for my mother next year...
