I miss my babies....

Helloooooooo!
I'm so happy you stopped by my blog. Please excuse the cobwebs.  It's residual Halloween decorations and real ones. My grandmother taught me to crochet many years back and this last visit she taught me knitting and I haven't been able to focus on anything else.  I promise to visit and catch up next week.  In the meantime, here's my latest offering for The Cutting Cafe.
My baby girl will be 18 very soon and even though she's still a sweetheart who hugs me all the time and lets me kiss her in public and loves to cuddle and watch Netflix with me, she's not a little kid anymore and that's sad...
(Many apologies to my Mom for growing up too!)
I decided to make her a girly card using this fabulous Candle Shaped Card, Assorted Banners, Birthday Number Candles, and 5 Petal Layered Flower Set.
Here's a fun little insert.
Notice the 'due' date is highlighted.  That's what the doctor predicted and the 'date out' is when she was born.
And that's that!
Again, please excuse my absence of late. I can't wait to come visit you all. Until then,
knit 1, purl 2......
Everything and more and even some VERY NEW ACRYLIC STAMPS coming soon to
All DT projects are posted at The Cutting Cafe Blog on the 7th and 21st of each month. We'd love for you to visit and be sure to leave a comment for Regina. She selects one lucky person to receive 3 FREE files of their choice!
Hugs and Happy Crafting,
Lisa xx

LOL, this is adorable, but I totally get what you mean about the knitting....I just rediscovered it and it has pushed my stamping out of the way more times than I can count! You should post some of your projects! Anyway, the little girl with her dog is the sweetest image ever; your daughter will love it!

They leave that out of the Mommy book don't they! Eeek! I totally dig your card even tho it appears all those years ago she kinda gave you a run for your money!!!! Such a sweet little image at the bottom love the whole thing! Glad you are learning something new too! Our blogs will wait!

A truly fantastic card for a milestone birthday. I love the little girl and puppy at the heart of it all, and the fantastic ephemera and bold pink bow to top it all off. I've never got on with knitting at all - knit one, drop two is more my style. Looking forward to seeing what you've been up to!

It's funny bc my DD turned 21 this year and little by little she's trying to help me release her. Pffft never I say lol! I text her a photo of one of her baby pic's to remind her she will ALWAYS be my baby girl. And as you say, that's that. LOVE your beautiful b'day gift to Brittany!!! xx

Lisa, I'm ultra tardy in catching up on your wonderful gallery of delight and my only excuse: disorganized on my part! Aiming to remedy that right this minute! Your project for your 'baby' is absolutely beautiful; rich with details AND memories! Keepsake, for sure! I hear you about the knitting and how addicting it can be. In fact, even writing the word has me wanting to dig out my needles and yarn (I can barely knit but it is relaxing, even though I have to count every. single. stitch. I could use a scarf *grin*
