Happy Autumn Wishes...

If I'm not mistaken, and I'm pretty sure I'm not, Autumn is definitely the season that is most inspiring for me.  I'm not sure if it's the cool air, the vibrant colors on the trees, or knowing that all the annoying bugs are about to depart, but my creative muse is alive and kicking.  Which worked out well when Meihsia, a very talented teammate at Our Creative Corner, decided her theme for this week is to...
Fall In The Circle!
She would love to see circle cards or circle projects with Fall colors or objects.
Here is my circle easel card that used nothing but scrap paper and fall colors.  The front has the Thinking of You wreath and the inside I've designed a fun little outdoor autumn scene with a cat on fence, one down below with button pumpkins, a full moon and a couple floating autumn clouds.  Bits of moss for texture surround the base with a raffia bow and two punched metal hearts that have been stained with Adirondack Inks.  The banner images are free from The Graphics Fairy.
So please come on over and join in the fun and share your fall colored or themed circle cards or projects with us. We'd love to see them!  Also, just a reminder, mid October starts our new Top Thursday Talent, you have to be in it to win it, so don't miss out on the fun!
Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for all your wonderful comments and visits.
Hugs n' Happy Stamping...
Lisa xx

It's probably because you know you won't be sweating to death in 100+ degree heat y'all had this summer. Well whatever the reason, I hope it stays Autumn in Missouri for evah as this is a gorgeous creation and as always I just love the layers and layers of gorgeousness you're able to create.

Holy Cow Lisa! I saw the first photo and had my nose up to the screen (as usual) taking in all the pretty colored leaves and embellies, and then bam! The next photo with the little doors (that I didn't even see) open and the little scene with the cats... This is over the top crazy good! Love this and would treasure this forever!

Man, I am with Jeanne (Holy Cow) & Samantha (flippin' brilliant) L2!!! I don't know that I have the words to express how I felt when I saw this on my screen. I'm like Jeanne in that I got as close as possible to eek out every bit of papercrafting goodness on this incredible card (that is sooooo much for than a card). This is off the charts and please don't tell me the son wants this one too. ;) I think you should open an ETSY store so the rest of us can have a chance at nabbing some of your gorgeous creations. A papercrafter, baker of pies, author and now an online store owner. Whatcha think?
I love this and I'm so glad you are my blog buddy and friend. Hope you're havin' a great weekend. ;)
Hugs,
L1

Lisa, Holy Moly! where do I begin. I do understand your inspiration from the change of the season. I think that when the air turns cooler, it actually frees your mind. And boy has yours soared! The depth of your creative flow is truly inspiring to all of us who gaze upon your incredibly gorgeous circle project. The depth of your attention to detail is amazing. Love the punched bird and all the various leaves. I think the black cat in front of the moon, is plain lovely. But, I truly find the inside doors just great! Your choice of pattern papers are simply lovely!
I hope you have a creative week! hugs, sharon w.

Love it, love it, love it Lisa, it take me some minutes to apprecate each detail,,,,,,,OMG,,,,, a play of art.

Lori said...

Okay, I was thinking "This is so pretty!" I kept looking at all the detail and then I scrolled to the picture with it open and I shouted "I love this!" (Which would be okay, but I'm at work!)

This is SO beyond the 'circle easel card' description!!!! 'Brilliantly, creative, masterpiece in the round' would be more appropriate! Of course the colors are beautiful, but it's the way everything is perfectly balanced and all of the fabulous texture that makes this absolutely amazing! The cats and the sweet button pumpkins with the burlap fence didn't hurt it any either!! Gorgeous work dear friend!!
