I'd just like to start by saying that I did not, absolutely didn't, use an air filter padding to make the snow igloo frame on this card, NOPE...but if you need something white, snowy and holds together well, you didn't hear it from me. ;) My husband is still shaking his head on this one. Oh well...on to the card...
This is my card for the Dutch Dare Challenge happening right now of Winter Wonderland! Using the images from our sponsor, Meljen's Designs here is Penguins Little Letter & Cozy Winter Mailbox.
I really wanted to make an igloo wreath and this is the best I could come up with. I'm pretty happy with it. What do you think?
Please join us for some Winter Wonderland fun and make that extra Christmas card you've been itching to do.
Thank you so much for your visit. You are VERY appreciated!
Hugs n' Happy Stamping...

Fabulous Lisa - at least it was a clean filter LOL! Love the image and all the details you have added. TFS
Too bad you didn't use air filter padding, I'm sure it would do the trick ;) Sweet card and an adorable image! Love the winter spray mix.
Hi Lisa - gorgeous card and such a great idea for the snow - you have such an inventive mind.
Just adorable images. So much fun and love the way you colored everything and the sky is awesome. Great try and the igloo I'm not sure what I would of used. I do love the way you think your mind is always working.
Hugs, Patricia

You're one creative lady, Lisa! Whatever stuff you've used - definitely not an air filter padding, the end result looks FAB!
DUDE! Santa called and said that he needs to know what die you used to get your holly leaves so he can leave one in my stocking.
I LOVE IT!!! Great job on using crazy stuff, that rocks!
SERIOUSLY.
DID I tell you yet I found you something at the second hand store the other day, did I???? ;-)
And here I thought you used sugar cubes. When I first read the title I thought it said Igloo Dishes and then I thought well this is going to be interesting - something for Eskimos. They need something pretty to put all that Seal blubber on. I wonder if they eat Penguin?
You always have such creative ideas Lisa and until I can learn another language, I get so tired of saying beautiful (which it is). Hey, I just noticed something, that white stuff that I am not supposed to know what it is, has a blueish cast to it. Hmmm - rite chilly like!

Hello Q
It makes me shiver just looking at it!
I am guessing this is not a card you are going to post! I like it for it's total impracticability, the image is wonderful as usual, and the elements look great.
I can picture this gorgeous Penguin set within a White Holly Wreath, Mmmm... you have given me an idea.
Smiles:)
O
You mean he still scratches his head after being married to you this long? He should be well acquainted with your imagination and ability to use ANY thing you can get your hands on Twang. LOL I think your igloo really makes the card. :-) Hugs!
Love how you created that cosy igloo, Lisa! The combination with the leaves and berries looks great! Thank you for your lovely comment on TTT too!

You know, I was just thinking 'Wow! That doesn't look a bit like air filter padding...' and what do you know? I was right!! Tell Mr M to make like the penguin and CHILL!! It's all good... I'm just glad you didn't use cotton balls...chills!!
This is so cute and creative as well! Love how the festive sprig compliments the image so well!
This is really unique. I love the little penguins. I think the igloo wreath turned out rather well and you are right air filter padding just isn't the way to go. ;o)
