You're Fascinating....

One of my favorite things I used to tell my kids when they were little and I was cooking, talking on the phone, making an errand list in my head, checking homework, preparing a bottle and doing laundry all at the same time while they were calling out my name was, "Mommy can do 500 things at one time, but I can't do 501!"  I absolutely love this image from Krista at Saturated Canary and I was so happy to see that she was sponsoring us this week at Make It Monday!  Krista completely nailed the domestic goddess look here.    Besides, it's true, all us Mommies get through it and sit back and wonder how in the world we did it all...well, it's because you're just fascinating amazing people!
I've made this card for a young friend of mine who is just now venturing into the "Cling-on" phase of parenting.  One clinging on the leg and one clinging on the hip.
So please come on over and share your makes with us and enjoy the ever delightful creativity of my teammates.
Now for the best part, my...
Okay, here's what I love about this card. See the very simple design here? It looks like your standard CAS card, but WAIT...there's MORE!  You'll have to click here to see the explosion of activity that happens when you open it! I can't even give you a hint, I'd hate to ruin the fun. :)
Thank you so much Asha for sharing this with us at Make It Monday!

As always, thanks isn't nearly enough for all your kind and funny words you leave, but thank you anyway! :)
Hugs n' Happy Stamping,
Lisa xx

This is so Enjoli! LOL Are you too young to remember those commercials?--I can bring home the bacon, fry it up in a pan, and never never never let you forget you're a man, cause I'm a woman, Enjoli. hee hee She'd need that Enjoli to cover up the smell of the bacon in her clothes. LOL Awesome card Twang and yes....we are amazing! :-) Hugs!

Hi Lisa

With three under three I don't think I looked as gorgeous and calm as this super lady even in her sweats and stained shirt.
I am a huge fan of Krista's images and I love how you have coloured this one up. The check list is a great touch.

The team seems to have doubled up with all the POTW's this week, just goes to show we all have great taste! I love this card, the inside is a real surprise.

So true is the Domestic Goddess....if she didn't juggle everything it wouldn't get done. I love the colours you have used to colour the hair too. Thanks for sharing!

I like this image! It's hard to look like a diva when having such a small one, and I think this mummy looks great with stains on her shirt and a practical hair do, trying to several things at a time!

Boy you have been busy!!!! I remember these days - of course I want you to know that my baby is older than you!!

I loved this card when I first saw it on the DT blog. It's perfect for young mothers and your coloring is perfection too. Her eyes are gorgeous!!! I see we both like Asha's amazing card this week so kudos to you for picking an amazing POTW. :-) Have fun this week and make it a good one L2. Hugs

Looove this card! And isn't that what we all did when raising our children, LOL. I still do it now with the grandkids in tow. Attitudes have changed and new Mums don't always take their kids with them, if I went somewhere, they had to come too. I even had babies in carriers on my back when I was taking piano lessons, LOL The teacher took it in his stride, but I eventually gave up!
Fabulous colouring on this wonderful image and love how you alternated your stitching from straight to zig-zag too.
Another double up on the POTW, it is very surprising!
Hugs,
Sandy

She is awesome and so are you for making this fabulous card! I LOVE the little stains on the shirt (we really don't want to know what they are...) and the check list tucked in behind her adds to the Wonder Woman effect!

Had to laugh that both Lisas picked the same POTW!!

We were in Wal-Mart this weekend and saw a lady with two boys in her cart. The youngest (maybe 2) was trying to grab everything and put it in his mouth and the older (about 3) was begging for everything he saw. I had to chuckle and as we made eye contact I told her "I've been there. It does get better!" She gave me that look of 'when?!' but managed a smile. Even though I enjoyed those times, I'm so glad to have all of that behind me!
