Ahhh, For Cryin' Out Loud!!

Annual Family Photo

Hello and welcome back to my blog.
I'm so excited to tell you about this weeks challenge at
TOP TIP TUESDAY
This week's challenge is.....
Add a tag to your project or make a tag as your project
Our winners will be graciously awarded prizes from these two sponsors
The Top Tipper award of 2 images of their choice
and
One lucky winner 5 digis of their choice!

The DT at TOP TIP TUESDAY would LOVE to have your visit and if you need a little more inspiration to get ready for the challenge, they've all been busy creating ideas just for you!
Hope to see you there....it's SOOO much fun!

 Homemade Shaker, Decoration and Image
Here's the house that Lisa built and
The free image that I drew and
The shaker tag using a sandwich bag.

 SNOW
The house is colored in Copics and topped with acrylic dimensional paint
and the snowman family is colored in Derwent Watercolor Pencils.
The SNOW letters are from my stash of chipboard and the pine trees are a free image from
The Graphics Fairy.
I used a small stretched strand of a cotton ball to give the illusion of smoke coming out of the chimney.
The fence is from Fiskars fence punch and is topped with white acrylic paint and all the snow is accented with dabs of Star Dust stickles.

The backside of the tag.

I should also mention that I did NOT come up with this idea on my own.
I drew inspiration from none other than Tim Holtz.
Here's his 2010 tag that really inspired me.
Here's the link

That's it for me on this tag,
but before I go I just want to say thank you so much to my new crafty blog buddies who are following and to let you all know that my
BLOG CANDY
is still open until the 30th of November so be sure to link up to determine if you've been
NAUGHTY OR NICE!

Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Stamping!!
Lisa xx

This is such a wonderful fantasy on a teensy weensy tag. The attention to detail is amazing, and that snowman family is too eerily like my own!!!

Great job, Lisa!!!!

I love your snow family image and the awesome tag you created. T!m is such a creative fella and you really tapped into his world with this one. The house rocks and all the little details are fantastic. :-)
It would be cool to hang on your Christmas tree or dedicate a tree to tags, it's much too pretty to give away. LOL

One of my favorite images! This is one butt kicking, awesome tag! Love the smoke (although I have a major aversion to cotton balls...) and all of the little details come together to make this such a wonderful piece of art! I'm glad TH inspired you, but you took his tag to a whole new level!

Oh, Lisa. Your work makes me despair over our language's lack of superlatives. We need to invent a whole new set of superlatives just for your work. This tag is stunningly detailed and charmingly funny. Of course you already know how much I love that snowman image, but this takes it to an amazing level.
