In The Spirit of Halloween...

More than anything, I love seeing little kids all dressed up for trick or treating.  The most precious of them are when the whole family dresses up together.  I tend to be a softy when I see a little toddler waddling up to the porch, dragging a treat basket that's nearly twice their size, and in that little voice say, "Twick o tweet pweeze." Without a doubt, if they passed the cemetery of decaying bones and howling music, banging on the walls and psychotic music coming through the fog to reach my porch, they absolutely deserve a bag or two of candy!
So, in the continued spirit of Halloween,, I've made this card with the wonderful pumpkin graphic from Nicecrane Designs and added a toddler from Graphics Fairy to symbolize what I love seeing about the holiday.  What a cool idea to hang your lit pumpkins from the tree...I think I might do that this year!
I hope this and my teammates at Make It Monday have inspired you to join us in another fun filled linky party...and just like Halloween, we have treats!!  Our sponsor this week is Cupcake Cards and Crafts.
Here's another crafter who shared their creativity last week and is my...
I just love all the animation happening here on this card! The adorable pumpkins, the mix of autumn flowers. The precious witch on her ride and what especially caught my eye was the lock on the front door of the silhouette house! What a cool idea!
Thank you so much Lucy for sharing your talent at Make It Monday. You've certainly inspired me. :)

Thanks so much for stopping in today and a HUGE warm welcome to my newest followers. I hope you find some inspiration here and a smile.
OH, and because it's also in the spirit of Halloween to scare...here's a little video. LOL!
(Don't worry, nothing pops out at you!..I hate those kind of videos) ;)
Hugs n' Happy Stamping,
Lisa xx

I dare not show that video to my boys for fear of never getting my computer back! The will just keep hitting replay, lol!

What a fun time of year Halloween must be, the effort everyone goes to, to make it such a special family time is just wonderful. It's not really celebrated here in Oz although the retailers do their best to make it happen but we just don't seem to buy in to it all that much.

Your card is fantastic, I love how you have combined the two images to recreate your take on best part of halloween for you.

Your POTW is just amazing, so many fabulous little details. A fun card for sure!

You're so funny!!! sounds like Halloween is big at your place. As Michelle said we can buy the stuff here but not all that into it. Last year we had 2 teenage girls knock at the door. Hubby dressed up in a black leather jacket, black gloves and a gorilla head. They thought it was hillarious. Fabulous card, love the combination of images and papers and the gorgeous big bow.
Lucy's card is well put together, a fab halloween scene. A great POTW
Hugs, Sandy :)

Snow? What?!? No, I am deaf, dumb and mute (and apparently redundant) to rumors of snow!
In fact, I have to friggin' SHAVE today because it's so hot I need to put on shorts! Ugh.
Ok, on to better topics...like your card and your POTW! Awesome awesome...both have the cutest little images...love your pumpkin girl and that witch on your POTW is fantastic!
Have a great week...without snow!

DD#1 and I laughed so hard at that poor baby in the video!! I'm hoping you're not planning on implementing that scare tactic into your spooky decor... ;)

So much to have fun with in the posting Lisa. I scare people when I fart - oh well. The step card is wonderful and I got tickled when I saw the lock on the front door of the haunted house. Loved your card - sweet little kid and spooky pumpkins. Just don't catch your tree on fire if you hang your pumpkin. That sounds like something I would do. Shows you how old I am -- forgot about the battery powered candles!!
