"Shoo Fly Don't Bo...."

Okay, show of hands....who here has ever accidentally swallowed a bug? Good, I saw several of you raise your hands. Now, another show of hands....who here has been on the back of  a motorcycle and inhaled a bug going the speed of light?  OMG! It's horrific! It feels like someone shot an arrow right down your throat.  The sting, the shock and then the moment of reckoning when you realize what has just happened and full body convulsions start as your stomach decides it wants to return said bug back into the wild....absolutely disgusting!  Then the person driving the bike hears you back there going, "I think (ungodly clearing of the throat) I just (another primal heave) swallowed (ghastly hurling sounds) a bug!" When they set off in hysterical laughter, showing no mercy what so ever, then suddenly nature serves sweet justice and slings one right down their throat too!!   To this day, I never look at motorcycles the same.  That's what I remembered when I got this insanely silly image from Robyn's Fetish called Lady Who Swallowed a Fly and thought to myself how horrible that experience was, but what about the poor bug?  So...here's my card.  Rest in peace Earl, we shall miss you.

Samantha's comment is spot on, you could write a book girl. I love your stories as much as I love your creations. Ever thought of writing a book? What an author you'd be L2! I love this card and I too knew we were in for a treat ;) when I saw the title of the image. Super fun and I love that homemade fly swatter.

As soon as I saw your fabulously funny card, I knew this was going to be a wonderful post!
Flying normal bugs are bad enough, but motorcycle bugs are the worst! In the hair, on the glasses, in the digestive tract... One of the reasons I started wearing a helmet!! Loved the graphic description of your experience!!
The poor lady looks like she may be feeling a little discomfort as well! Love the textured flyswatter and Earl's buddies watching in horror, but my favorite is the embossing on the base to connect the images with the song! The card tells almost as wonderful of a story as it's creator!

I have to believe that anyone named Earl must have the worst luck. :-) This card is too funny Twang. never been on a motorcycle to swallow a bug and though I can't remember doing it I'm sure I have. Seems like they always want to pop me in the eyes. Thanks for the chuckle! H
