Chase Your Dreams....

Welcome back ya'll!
I have an inspirational shadow box to share with you today for the newest Make It Monday linky party  Our sponsor this week is the ever incredible Bugaboo and this time around I chose one of their quotes to use on my project, titled, Chase Your Dreams.
This shadow box is made from a 12x12 piece of cardstock. To stiffen it up a bit, once folded, I painted on a layer of Gesso and it gave it a nice sturdiness.
Nine little handmade flowers made with Stampin' Up! punches

My cutting machine is not liking the texture of my black cardstock, either that, or I don't have it on the correct setting, so you can see a few "snags" in the silhouette images, but this was my 4th attempt to cut them out and well...I think it works just fine.  I thought the little girl chasing a butterfly would be perfect and the sentiment above and the single butterfly all come from the Silhouette Studio Store.

Hope you've enjoyed this project and it's given you some creative ideas.
Now for the fun part....my,
What is it about "Having One of Those Days?" cards that crack me up? It might be because I can pretty much relate to each of them! Had the best giggle with Billie's card here and just had to share it as my Pick Of The Week! Thanks so much for sharing this with Make It Monday!

Come share you makes with us at Make It Monday, check out my teammates ever creative makes, and you could be in the running for the prize from Bugaboo for 7 digital images of your choice!
Hugs n' Happy Crafting,
Lisa xx

Do you need my addy so you can send it to me? ;D

Hi Lisa

Whoa, card stock shadow box?! How'd you do that??? Love it!!

The whole project is awesome (didn't notice the snags till you mentioned them. The coloured flowers are beautiful in their contrast to the black and white.

Completely loving your POTW, LOL, Reminds me of our cat, except she is after our budgie all the time.

Cool! Those cutting hiccups are why I quit using my Cricut. Guess the Silhouette has it's fair share too huh. Regardless the project is amazing. The silhouette of the girl and your gorgeous punched flowers really bring it to life. Hugs! H

Wow Lisa. I can't believe all the incredible designs that you have come up with in these past two weeks. Just, jaw on the floor pick it up before something crawls in, AMAZING. You are truly an inspiration. I wish I had the time to leave a comment on each design but blogger might just crash on me if I were to attempt it. Just know that I love each and every one of your designs. You are so, so talented.

Hugs,
from the other L.

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! LOVE the b&w silhouettes, and then that fabulous floral in delicate pretty colours... just wonderful! And there may be snags in the words, but I think it looks magnificent - would love one of those dies!! The basic card structure is fab too - altogether amazing!

Once again, I find myself trying to put the right words in this little box... The whole thing is so beautiful and artistic! LOVE the paper print flowers mixed with just a hint of blue and the black silhouette cut outs are fabulous (I have the same problem with certain cardstock in my cricut...) The hand made shadow box is brilliant, but I have to say that my favorite part is how it all 'works' so well paired with the sentiments. Fabulous!! And if you want to get rid of this piece, you know my address! :)

Oh, good grief... I was so worked up over your gorgeous piece, I forgot to comment on the POTW! This is so fun and it reminds me a little of the digi you created with the cat peering in the fishbowl.
