Drive In Date Night

Okay, so Gone With The Wind made its debut in 1939; however, it's held its romance and popularity through the generations. Therefore, it only makes sense for a young couple in the 1950's to enjoy this classic movie in a classic car while at the Drive In Theater.

This is my DT card for Make It Monday and a huge thank you to our sponsor, Digi My World for providing the awesome digital image, 50's Drive In.

I had a little fun with the big screen as well as inserting a black and white image of a couple actually sitting in the car, with love quotes, of course!

We'd really love for you to pop on over to Make It Monday and share your latest and greatest makes OR share with us something that you made awhile ago.

While you're there, please check out the fabulous works of my teammates and see who their Pick Of The Weeks are.

Speaking of that....

I cheated and picked two!
Absolutely LOVE these amazingly designed holders.  Fantastic ideas ladies and incredibly inspiring.
Thank you BOTH for sharing them with us at Make It Monday

Special Day...

Hello!

So happy you stopped in.

Here is my digitally designed card for Make It Monday. I've used this little image and sentiment called It's Your Special Day from our sponsor Digi My World.  As much as I love cutting into my paper stash, I thought that some of the gorgeous free papers and images I've downloaded needed to be used as well so I designed this double paper layered card on Microsoft Word.  I do believe it's time to change the ink in my printer, but frugal me will milk that thing to the last drop, and so the inner layer of paper isn't as defined as it appeared on my screen.  For a little extra dimension I've paper pieced the dress, bow and shoes and I've added dots of Buttercup liquid pearls to distinguish one paper from the other.  The banner is also a freebie which I've foam mounted as well as the balloons.  I hope you'll join us in the always fun linky parties at Make It Monday where the prize will be a $10 gift voucher!!   At the bottom of the post I will leave links to the images and paper I've used if you're interested in checking them out.  Thank You so much for taking time out of your day to visit me and I thank you for your always kind and encouraging comments.  I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Get All Better...

Well let's see, another week gone by and now I'm looking at the butt end of April already!

Man o' man did that month just whiz by.
Well, we're finishing it off in style at the ever fabulonderful (like that new word? It's sure to catch on!)..
Make It Monday!

Joining in our linky party is the crazy talented

DIGI MY WORLD

Who has graciously offered our DT the fun opportunity of using their digi's and is providing a lovely prize for our winner!

I had the pleasure of using Nurses Heal and downloaded this crazy messed up kitchen sketch as her backdrop scenery.  I placed the copic colored Nurses Heal on foam squares as well as computer generated sentiments.  The syringe was labeled with rub on letters.

Here's Mom after she's 'all better.'

That's all I have to share on this little card, but I'd like to send a very warm welcome to my newest followers and tell you all that I just get the best laughs and smiles out of your comments.
As always, I look forward to sharing with you my...

PICK OF THE WEEK!

Why do I like this card so much? It just makes me happy to look at it.  The fun contrasting, yet coordinating colors, the white background that highlights the cute image and the baker's twine to embellish is just so pleasing to the eye.

Beautiful card Luanne and thank you so much for sharing it.

Sure would be neat'o keen if you shared your talent with us too, so if you have some time, hop on over to Make It Monday, the place where mojo lives!

Take care, stay well and big hugs and happy stamping...
