Wear Cute Boots...

Welcome back to another Cutting Cafe showcase of Regina's beautiful files.
Today I'm showing her precious Rain Boots Shaped Card Template and the Fun With Snowflakes file I've used for the boot pattern.
How fun is this??
It's been so dark and dreary here lately that I wanted something lighthearted and playful to hang on my wall that inspired me.  So here it is... my tip for dealing with the drab weather...wear cute boots!!
Found this wonderful sentiment on Pinterest and thought it fit perfectly.

Go have a looksie for yourself...
you're gonna be glad you did! :)

You're A Ball To Be Around...

I'm about to lose my mind with my camera, so apologies on the gunky picture.  But, take my word, these images from Zlatoena's are so stinkin' cute.  Here is my DT card for the latest Top Tip Tuesday challenge which is hosting the theme of...FUR or FEATHERS so join in the fun and bring along you fuzzy or flighty creations and you'll be in the running for two digital images from Zlatoena's!
I couldn't take making another Christmas card so I thought a fun wintery friendship card would be fitting for this little buddy, Bunny in a snowball fight.

Thank you so much for hopping in today and I'll leave you with a special poem.

Snowball
by Shel Silverstein
I made myself a snow ball as perfect as could be.
I thought I'd keep it as a pet and let it sleep with me.
I made it some pajamas and a pillow for it's head.
Then, last night it ran away.
But first -- it wet the bed.

Is It? Is It Really??

YES, winter is wonderful!!
That is of course if you are looking out at it from the inside of your cozy warm house.
If you've been a regular to my blog, you'll know that I am not fan of heat, so feeling the cooler temperatures and awaiting the new fallen snow is something I anxiously anticipate each year; however, there is a down side. I am not, and this can be verified by pretty much anyone who knows me, or has ever been in the same vicinity as me, when I step outside INTO it.  I look like Bambi on the ice. The most ungraceful person on planet earth.  Yet, somehow I manage to pull it off like it was completely planned and choreographed that way.  Or at least I tell myself that.
This card is made to resemble my ineptitude in inclement weather!
The wonderful artist Fawn Palmer has provided Squigglefly with this enchanting little owl titled, A Winter Owl Too as well as the sentiment.  Ummm, little side note...the original image is upright on the limb, but to add a little humor and realistic touch, I decided flipping it over would be more an apropos resemblance to myself and of course, the fitting and wee bit of sarcasm in the sentiment.
Please join us over at the Squigglefly Challenge Blog for our current challenge of
Tell Me Anything!
(It's an anything goes challenge BUT it has to include a sentiment
Squigglefly has tons of $0.99 sentiments and often they come with an image.

I hope you've enjoyed my card and for more inspiration, please pop over to the challenge and see what my other fabulous teammates have created.
