View Finder Card...

I still have mine!
Thanks to my wise Mom, who never threw away the cool toys from my childhood, I can still enjoy watching Sleeping Beauty, with sound, on my original View finder. What saddens me is that when you Google an image of it now, it comes up under Stroll Down Memory Lane; Vintage Toys!!!!   (GASP, GAG, COUGH, CHOKE..moving on...)
So, when Elaine at Top Tip Tuesday decided to host this very cool challenge of Moving Parts, it had to be a view finder card for me.
Here's little Barry Spring 2 from our sponsor Stamp Fairy as he swings under a tree and wishes you a happy hello.  There are a total of 4 sentiments stamped in all.
The view finder card, tree, grass, and flowers are all cut files from The Silhouette Studio.

If you're in the mood for making moving parts on your cards, then please stop by Top Tip Tuesday to join in our challenge and check out the other wonderful movable cards from my teammates.

I'm gonna go cry now and try to come to terms with the fact that I am an owner of antique toys...sniff.....
Hugs n' Happy Stamping,
Lisa xx

Vintage?? Antiques??..apart from 2 toes, 3 fingers..maybe 4, 2 hips, 1 ankle, and the occassional stiff neck that groans on the odd day,and a back that does not always look straight.. I'm in tip top condition..so are my toys..lol.

Fabulous card Lisa, Barry looks in superb form..love the flowers and awesome colouring...a fabulous scene you have created..

luv CHRISSYxx [creak!!...just stood up]

I really like your darling card. Love the way you used the view finder in it.

As far as vintage toys - honey, when I played with view finder, they didn't even have sound. Now I feel really vintage.

You've created a wonderful scene for Barry, Lisa! You've given him such nice fluffy fur, and I like the detail of the tree with the swing and the overall look of nature of this card!

You know what I love most about your creations, is the attention to details! I love the tree and those leaves are amazing. You teddy on the swing is fabulously coloured! The other thing I love about your creations, are the lovely little anecdotes and stuff that you add to your posts!! Thanks and hope you have a fabulous rest of the week.

I had to zoom real close to those flowers. First I thought maybe you did some kind of paper clip kinda thing and then I decided that no, they were really all cut, from that very same silhouette...I do now wonder what paper clip flowers might be like...

Do not worry about the vintage toy thing. Just think, if she has any of your old lunch boxes, you can sell them on ebay and get bucks for more card making supplies...vintage = money! LOL!

Really love your card, it's very awesome and cool!!

ummm errrr I still have those too. :-) Haven't seen them in a while so I'm not sure exactly where they are, but I remember them well. There was just something about the images on those little wheels. The one of Melificent on the SB one always creeped me out with those funky horns on her cape. The view finder on your card is lots of fun and I like all the texture on teddy. Great job Twang. Hugs!

Wonderful card! I love all of the cut out details and Beary is too sweet! He looks like he wants a hug!!

As far as the whole vintage toy thing, I'm sure that is a mistake! Probably some young kid thinking those toys are much older than they really are, after all, we just graduated college, our toys can't be that old... :) My youngest was learning about different periods of time in history and said that if she could go back in time, she would go 'back' in the 80's. Her reason? "The music was cooler back then."
