Bumble The Christmas Classic
Milk carton #10
I'm giddy about this milk carton and it's all thanks to
If you've been following the production of these little cartons,
you will know that Linda is having the coolest contest called
The 12 Tags of Christmas Challenge.
Here's Linda's tag o' inspiration for this week...
It's absolutely GORGEOUS and so many new and wonderful elements to choose from.
I was completely drawn into the burlap and the ice skaters.
As you can see, mine looks NOTHING like Linda's and here's why...
I loved the skaters and kept thinking about ice,
ice made me think of Christmas,
Christmas ice made me think of Bumble,
Bumble made me think of the Classic Christmas TV shows.
And there you have it...
The base of the milk carton is inked in Brilliant Blue, Night of Navy, Tempting Turquoise, and Taken With Teal for a frozen ice look.
I then poured glue over each section of the carton and placed crumpled pieces of a sandwich bag over it for an even icier appearance.
Taking Glossy Accents, I poured this over the sandwich bag and then sprinkled mica flakes atop that.
The mountains were hand cut and attached with adhesive and topped with white acrylic dimensional and then star dust stickles.
The images are keeping in tune with my love of "vintage" and are downloaded from the internet.
Can't wait to cuddle on the couch and watch these again this year with kiddos!
Check out Linda's challenge at the Funkie Junkie...
There's still plenty of time!
Hugs and Happy stamping...
